Privacy Policy

MUTUAL CONFIDENTIALITY AND NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

1. The Parties-
This Agreement is made between Cordova-Griffith Bookkeeping ("Bookkeeper") and [Client/Business] ("Client"), collectively referred to as the "Parties."

2. Confidential Information-
"Confidential Information" includes all non-public information provided by the Client, such as:

Bank and credit card statements, tax returns, and payroll records.
Profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
Client lists, vendor contracts, and business strategies.
Login credentials for financial software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.).

3. Non-Disclosure Obligations-
The Bookkeeper agrees to:

Hold all Confidential Information in strict confidence.
Use the information solely for the purpose of providing bookkeeping and financial services.
Not disclose, sell, or trade the information to any third party without prior written consent from the Client, unless required by law (e.g., a court order).

4. Data Security-
The Bookkeeper shall implement reasonable physical and electronic security measures (such as encrypted storage and password managers) to protect the Client’s data from unauthorized access or theft.

5. Permitted Disclosure-
The Bookkeeper may disclose information to their own employees or contractors only if those individuals have signed similar confidentiality agreements and "need to know" the data to perform their jobs.

6. Term and Termination-
This agreement remains in effect during the service period and for [e.g., 3 or 5 years] after the professional relationship ends. Upon termination, the Bookkeeper will return or securely destroy all Client records, except those required to be kept for legal or tax compliance.

7. No Grant of Rights-
Sharing this information does not give the Bookkeeper any ownership or license over the Client’s intellectual property or business data.

8. Governing Law-
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State/Province of Texas.
